Custom Lighting for Hotel Projects
Hotel lighting brings together many types of fittings, from a statement chandelier in the lobby to wall lights, reading lights and table lamps in the guestrooms. Covetstar develops custom decorative lighting around the design intent, site conditions and technical requirements of each project.
Lighting for Public Spaces
Lobbies, staircases, restaurants and lounges often call for lighting with a strong visual presence. We develop feature chandeliers and decorative pendants with attention to scale, materials, suspension, assembly, light output and maintenance access. Early review of ceiling height, fixing positions and electrical services helps turn the design into a fitting that can be manufactured and installed.
Lighting for Guestrooms and Corridors
Guestroom lighting needs to work with the furniture, headboard, wall finish and control layout. Decorative wall lights, focused reading lights and table lamps may share a visual language while serving different functions. We review dimensions, projection, mounting, switching, plugs and light distribution according to the individual fitting and destination market.
From Design Brief to Production
We can begin with drawings, a fixture schedule, specifications or reference images. The design is reviewed for materials, dimensions, construction, fixing and electrical requirements. Depending on the project, shop drawings, finish samples or prototypes can be prepared for review before production. Final assembly, lighting checks, packing and delivery are coordinated around the approved specification.
Materials, Finishes and Lighting Details
The appearance of a decorative fitting depends on more than its shape. Base material, surface preparation, brushing direction, sheen, diffuser and colour temperature all affect the finished result. Where required, material and finish samples can be reviewed alongside the proposed light source, driver location and dimming arrangement.
